Seminar HOTSEATS
Hotseats are always a GREAT hit at any of my events. You may be asking: What IS a hotseat?
Hotseats are where a single individual is asked to sit at the front of the room, ask his or her biggest question and then get answers from both the instructors and the other participants.
This is often times such a popular thing to do that it can be used as a bonus for those who sign up early.
I have often used the incentive of GUARANTEEING someone a hotseat if they one of the first 8 (or whatever number) to sign up for the event.
The reason why this is such a popular thing to do is that it makes it possible for the person in the hottest to get personal consulting from both the seminar leader (you) and/or your other speakers.
Any time I do them, the evaluations reflect the value that people find in having them made available.
Since they are such a popular item, both for those in the actual hotseats AND those in the audience, I usually schedule them at the end of the day or days.
This makes it easy to keep people around for the entire duration of the event.
I suggest you give it a try!
Be careful NOT to promise a hotseat to someone and then not deliver on it. This will get the person VERY angry!
