Website for Your Seminar Event
No matter what type of event you’re doing, you’ll need a website to promote it. You’ll also want to reserve a SEPARATE domain name for every seminar/event that you do. This is mandatory.
I recommend that you go to www.UltraCheapDomains.com to reserve your domain names. I DO get a quarter or so for every one of those that you purchase. Thanks in advance!!
In addition to a separate domain, you’ll also want to put a page on your authority site. In my case, I would promote a seminar on this topic at: www.SeminarOnSeminars.com. I would also have the same copy on a page at www.FredGleeck.com.
It would be found at www.FredGleeck.com/seminaronseminars
This way, any and everything you do to promote the event should be geared to getting people to go visit that site.
I’ll be sending out a postcard to promote an event. I won’t try and SELL them via the postcard. The only thing I’ll do is attempt to get them to visit the site.
The site is where you do your SELLING.
The copy is then critical to getting the largest number of people to sign up. We will talk about that in another one these 52 Tips.
Your website should look something like: www.FredInfoBootcamp.com.
The example is admittedly self-serving, but this site closes a very high percentage of visitors. I suggest you use it as a template.
