Seminar Event Goals
Before you start doing anything else, the first thing you have to ask yourself is: what is the GOAL for your event?
That MUST be the first question you ask. Everything else you will proceed from the answer to that question.
If your ONLY goal is to make money, I’m not the guy to listen to. I don’t think that will best serve your audience. If ONE of your primary goals isn’t to SERVE your audience, then nothing that I will say from this point onward will make a whole lot of sense to you.
There are certainly other people who profess to teach this topic who will tell you that it’s ALL about the MONEY.
I think that it’s possible to make lots of cash AND serve your attendees!
Ask yourself what does the group you’re wanting to attract most need to learn to give them the greatest value. That’s where you’ll need to start.
Do that and everything else will fall into place.
Your exercise right now is to take out a sheet of paper and start writing down what people will LEAVE with when they are through with your event.
The items that you come up with will be very helpful in promoting your seminar, bootcamp or workshop!
It doesn’t matter how many you come up with, but start writing them down. For my seminar on seminars it would include:
- How to Come up with the BEST Title for your Event
- 4 Things You MUST do to promote your event.
- What 7 elements every website for an event must have.
Those are a few for you to consider. Now come up with a list of your own.
